eu não sei como é que as coisas funcionam convosco, mas algo me diz que eu não serei a única a sentir o mesmo! o que acontece é que muitas vezes fico de tal forma ocupada com os projectos que tenho em mãos para clientes, que me esqueço de mim, de fazer aquilo que gosto, ainda que no final tenha um carácter profissional. esqueço-me de sair de casa para tirar fotografias, só pelo prazer que me dá, esqueço-me de procurar sítios novos em lisboa, esqueço-me de tirar tempo durante a semana para mim e fazer o que me apetece… e depois disto tudo, não consigo encontrar o tempo para editar as fotografias que tirei e publicá-las aqui no blog ou ver quais é que são boas para ir para as lojas. sou a única a perder-se assim? espero que não!

i don’t know how things work out for you, but something tells me that i’m not the only one feeling this way! the thing is that week after week i feel that i have no time left for myself, after dedicating every bit of my time to my clients’ projects. i forget to spend some time alone with my camera, to go for walks, to wander around with no place in mind to go, to be, with no hours to check, nothing… i miss having the time for this and to find new places in lisbon and enjoy them. and even when i actually happen to have my camera when i go out, i hardly have the time to work on the photos to blog about or just to put on etsy for sale! am i the only one feeling this way? hope not!
bem, desde a semana passada que consegui roubar um pouco do meu próprio tempo (será que tal coisa é possível?) e perder-me por entre os arquivos de fotografias dos últimos meses. é tão bom rever os sítios por onde andei, as tardes perdidas em lisboa, os dias de verão na costa alentejana, os fins de tarde na nossa casa antiga, os passeios por setúbal, cascais, sintra, santarém… rever as flores e as visitas aos jardins botânicos cá em lisboa, os passeios na praia na costa oeste, as cores, as flores, as borboletas, as casas e as janelas.

well, last week i was actually able to steal some time from myself (is this even possible?) and get lost among all my photo archives and revisit all the places i’ve been in these last months. it feels so good to go through those streets of lisbon, the botanic gardens, the summer days in the southwest of portugal, and all the walks throughout this country. it felt so good to go through every and each image. the windows, the flowers, the houses… it’s so me, it’s so what i love to do.
e foi assim que consegui reunir uma mão cheia de novas fotografias para colocar à venda! existem fotografias que cheiram a primavera, outras para os amantes da fotografia de paisagem, para quem adore bicicletas ou queira ter sempre um cheirinho de lisboa em casa! estas são algumas das minhas preferidas desta semana!

and it was like this that i was able to put aside a bunch of new photos for prints on etsy. from countless hours in these last 12 months i was able to get so many new prints, some celebrate the goodness of our country, others celebrate spring days, summer sunsets, walks in the botanical gardens and so much more. these are some of my favourite this week! i could stare at them for so long…
