remember this nice swedish family? and remember this post? well, these are some of the film work i shot for this session. i like the soft tones and i like how it makes me look at the images in a different way, other than the way i looked at them while editing. film is almost raw in a certain way. and though i could use a much more expensive camera to make these, i don’t want to go that way and i cannot afford it. i want to make the best out of this one and embrace everything it has to offer. and this baby offers a lot of beautiful things.
i love the process too! measure light, compose the image, click the shutter, turn the advance knob and get ready for the next one! it’s like slow-motion photography. take it slow, take it easy. no one is running after you! and enjoy your session, instead of freaking out with the number of pictures you took on a session! quantity was never the same as quality, so let’s enjoy this!
