to make us want to go back to summer! and that is why i went back to these days on this island! a while ago i realized i hadn’t had the time to edit these photos from berlenga. and it’s funny because every time i go there, i have something new, either a whole camera, or a new lens, so there’s always something worth to capture again, because this time will be different.
but on the other hand, if we go there again this year, i think i won’t take my digital camera, but just film. for two reasons: berlenga is all about slowing down. and film means slowing down. and with my digital camera, i’m always really scared that something will happen while we’re on the boat and i end up losing my camera to the ocean. i get cold chills just by thinking about this. i’m much more comfortable with my feet in land, rather on a boat, but i guess that has to do with the camera issue. well anyway, let’s enjoy a bit of summer mood, shall we?
how cool is this starfish above? this little girl was diving and found it! it was huge! i had never seen one so huge and alive! this island is amazing for diving! i never tried it, i think i would freak about the breathing thing! have you ever tried it?
some will be available to sell on the shops (both etsy & society6!). i’ve been devoted to taking a look at all my repertoire from the last 12 months and add a few more to the shops! i want them stronger and adding a few more has been fun and exciting for the whole new look on the shops!
