last saturday i took the day to myself, i was out of my home for most part of the day, had lunch with friends, met other friends at the wedding showcase i mentioned on saturday, met new friends on the same event, came home for a walk with mr kobe and to be with him for a little while, and then had dinner with a lot of friends that were on that same event. it was a full day… and exactly like last year, i wasn’t able to take those many pictures. and you know why? for the exact same reason as always – a chat too much!

i arrived at the 5 star ritz hotel in lisbon and was surprised by something so little that made me laugh of myself and at he same time made me realize that i was at a very fancy place – i arrived by taxi and the elegant hotel doorman opened the taxi door for me while i was still paying, i thought that was someone wanting to get inside the taxi- oh my, i’m not used to these things at all. and then i walked through the lobby, found my way to the ballroom and was in awe with all the sumptuosity and luxury of that ballroom. being an event that is completely related to weddings, i immediately imagined a bride and groom arriving at that ballroom and coming down the stairs in great elegant style.

and yes, above are hundreds of origami golden swallows that were welcoming all the guests from the ceilings, creating a beautiful effect when we entered the ballroom or looking at the room from above.
